COMPREHENSIVE OBJECTIVE

The Purpose of Global University office in Malta, which legal name is "Global Institute of Theology" is to extend the vision of Global University to the Maltese Islands. It will work with churches to help them in their educational programs. It will provide the courses and relative materials in order to qualify students in different levels of ministry. It will also provide training to teachers and help the local churches to establish learning centers within their communities. Global Institute of Theology can provide sound Biblical Studies to prepare leaders in the local church to be prepared in areas of the: spiritual, moral, ethical, and academic aspects. Global Institute of Theology assurance to quality is based on the character of its board and teachers. In order to ensure quality, Global Institute of Theology will adhere to the National Commission for Further and Higher Education framework (NCFHE). In compliance with the NCFHC, GIT will “promote” a culture of quality assurance. This will benefit the students in further and higher education with quality of knowledge and skills for their future in the context of Christian Education.

STUDENT CENTERED ORIENTATION

With all of its strengths and improving on its weaknesses, GIT strives to be a student- centered learning institution. Our philosophy comes from the second-century sage Rabbi Judah the Holy, who articulated the well- known saying, “the world exists only to breathe the breath of school children.” We are convinced that this principle is internalized and is in the fabric of our being. We firmly believe that the focus of learning must have the students best interest in its aim; unless the students receive what we offer them, then the focus is somewhere else. We are convinced, that the strategy of making sure all that all GIT staff adhere to the designed policies and guidelines gives our students high-quality educational experiences.
